What is Inbox Sentry?
The Inbox Sentry system provides an integrated Anti-Spam and Anti-Virus solution offering complete email protection, before unwanted or potentially dangerous and costly email reaches your mail server. Inbox Sentry is positioned "in front" of your existing email server and is able to immediately start working to block and filter up to 98% or more of all Spam/UCE (“unsolicited commercial email”) and Virus infected emails using its default settings alone.
Will Inbox Sentry work with my ISP or hosting company?
Yes! Inbox Sentry is a practical and cost-effective solution for anyone who is looking for an easy to use solution effective solution for spam and antivirus protection. You just need to update your MX record to point to our servers, we then filter the email then deliver it to your mail server.
How Accurate is Inbox Sentry
While most other systems have spam detection rates of 40 to 70 percent, Inbox Sentry is able to provide high Spam and Virus detection rates of up to 98% or more with very low false positive rates using only the default settings.
These detection rates can be further improved by the automatic self-tuning and learning mechanisms built into the SpamWall system as well as by adjustments made to the Spam Scanning and Filtering engine.
Will there be any need for configuration changes to my SMTP / POP server or email client software settings?
There should be no need for any configuration or other changes to an existing SMTP or POP server setup or to the configuration of any email client software.
Does each mailbox user need a management login?
No, we filter all incoming email for a domain, unlike many other spam services that provide their services on a per email box basis. There is one master administrative login which you would use to manage all user accounts. Optionally for a small extra monthly fee, additional mailbox user logins can be obtained so when needed a user can manage there own mailbox, but this is not necessary.
